Clients Well-Served
Starting with the imperative "we can do better", the National Breakthrough Network
identified several priorities to address to ensure that clients
are being well-served. These priorities were established to address common services to clients such as:
- Client has to give same information over and over
- Community (overall) lacks awareness of available services/resources
- Gaps in services readily available
- Draining community human (and financial) resources looking for services/information
- Information out of date
Characteristics of "Clients Well-Served" include:
- Client-centered - providers have clear definition of client /person seeking services
- Agency providing services/using the system
- Easy access to needed services
- Prompt, helpful, appropriate referral and instructions
- Client receives appropriate service
- Feedback loop (to clients, providers & funders)
- Information/resources current/valid
- Agreed upon service standards
