Just as we all need help from time to time, most folks are willing and able to give as well. With Tapestry you can collect and share donor opportunities with ease. The donor module lets you describe financial needs and in-kind services and other donations that will be of use to specific agencies and programs.
For example, you can create a community-wide directory of donor opportunities which you can manage from a central location, or you can allow each partner agency to manage their own contribution requests. Donors can ask to be contacted, pledge a level of support, or make online credit card donations with ease.
Even better, the donor opportunities can be linked to the same profiles that describe available programs and services. Thus, while a user is searching for assistance for their elderly parent, for example, they can at the same time see information about--and do something about--contributions that are needed right now.
