Maximizing resources is an imperative in every sector of business, yet possibly felt most deeply in the social services sector where needs are critical to life's essentials such as safety, shelter, food, child services, etc.  The irony of this imperative to maximize resources is that we operate in an era of shrinking resources coupled with a mandate to "do more with less".
