VisionLink, Inc. Launches National Breakthrough Network with Ten Sites

Boulder, CO - May 1, 2007 - VisionLink, Inc. announced today the selection of ten sites to participate in a national network of community organizations who seek to improve local service delivery through data exchange. VisionLink is the national leader for community resource management software.

Today's launch of the National Breakthrough Network is a direct response by VisionLink to bring participating communities from across the country together to share information to increase the capacity of service delivery. The Breakthrough Network will be driven by participant ideas and questions, the things that really matter to each community. Network members define the agenda--the content and the voice. VisionLink provides the intersection of thought and practice through virtual and face-to-face meetings.

The ten network sites will benefit by deepening their knowledge and expertise, interacting with peers from across the country to learn strategies and effective practices, helping each other solve problems, and gaining a place to feel connected rather than isolated in silos where the wheels are constantly re-invented.

VisionLink benefits by learning first hand about the needs of their clients and about trends and best practices in the field. VisionLink will measure community and Network success in the following 5 areas:
• Engaged partners
• Coordinated data and services
• Maximized resources
• Measurable impacts
• Clients well-served

The National Breakthrough Network includes Baldwin County United Ways/VOAD (AL), Colorado 2-1-1 and HMIS, First Call for Help (NW Florida), 4People (Eastern WA), Mental Health Association of NYC, Odessa Links, Pocono Healthy Communities Alliance (PA), Safe Horizon (NYC), United Way of Abilene, and the United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra.

"The opportunity to interact in a quality, structured environment with other organizations would have immense value to us. I'm sure that we are all trying to solve many of the same problems, but 'in a vacuum'. This makes great strides towards framing the work - not the product we use to do the work," said Kelsey Piechocki, vice president United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra.

Network members will be able to learn from one another as well as teach each other various skills and lessons. VisionLink will be the backbone of this initiative as host and facilitator so customers may benefit from the network as much as possible.

VisionLink, founded in 1996, is a rapidly growing national corporation based in Boulder, CO. VisionLink provides both technical and consulting solutions to clients across the country like the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, the United Way of America, the National Coordinated Assistance Network, and many state and local community, educational and social organizations.
