The firm's middleware provides multi-platform connectivity with nearly all major database and web server products, again providing alternate choices for VisionLink should any one supplier or methodology prove unreliable, vulnerable, or no longer effective.
In addition, VisionLink maintains redundant switches, firewalls, routers, web servers, application servers, database servers, and power and cooling systems. The firm's staffing protocols ensure that we always offer Unix, Linux, Windows, and Macintosh operational and programming experience, so that platform specific threats or issues are within the scope of in-house experience and expertise.
VisionLink maintains backup data for all server and network systems, and for all client data and operations, both on and off-site, and in 4-hour, fire resistant vaults specifically designed for electronic media. Data is backed up every 24-hours incrementally, with full backups weekly, rotated weekly off-site, and stored for one year.
